Cookie in use
metran_session is a first-party session cookie set on this website’s domain. It contains a random session identifier, not the name, email or message entered in the form. It supports security-token checks and administrator sessions.
Duration and category
Category: essential / security. Provider: Metran Maden Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., the operator of this site. Duration: browser session, with no persistent expiry date; browser session restoration may preserve the cookie. A separate one-hour inactivity limit applies to administrators and is not the cookie lifetime.
Purpose, basis and sharing
The session identifier is processed automatically to secure forms and administrator access, based on the legitimate interest in secure service provision under KVKK Article 5(2)(f). The hosting infrastructure processes it to provide the session service. See the Information Notice for controller details and your rights.
Security records that are not cookies
The keyed IP-based hash and request counters held on the server for rate limiting are not browser cookies. Expired counters are cleaned up on the next rate-limited request. Hosting access and error logs are also separate from cookies.
Managing preferences
The current site has no advertising, marketing or analytics cookies, so it has no optional-cookie consent panel. You can delete or block the session cookie in your browser’s privacy or site-data settings; blocking it may prevent form submission and administrator login. When opening WhatsApp, that service’s cookie and privacy practices apply.
